Need to replace this carpet.
Tried some silicone pool tiles last season but they got stained and slippery/ slimy pretty fast and it didn't seem to be a way to clean it properly.
Best Choice really seems to be to replace the carpet.
As you can see the top is pretty thin and worn down, but the edges are fine. obviously that makes sense.
I haven't done something like this before. Because the cap carpet is so worn down, it's hard for me to imagine how I can just rip out .
Would I be able to just glue some carpet on top of that, or do I have to scrape it all the way down to the metal?
any recommendations for suggestions would be welcome.
