Hey everyone!

I am running a Flowclear 1500 gal/hour sand filter on my Bestway Steel Pro Max 16'x48.

I finally got all the "gunk" out of my pool - and in doing so - when I backwash/rinse I flood my yard... mainly because the tubes they provide are only 3-4' long. I cannot for the life of me figure out a hose attachment that goes on the end of the pump where backwash water flows from. If I could run a 100'+ garden hose from the pump, I would be in a much better spot!

Thanks!

With Bestway, I'm guessing they are using proprietary sized threads on that waste port, maybe 1.25 or 40 mm in size. You have the option of trying a variety of adapters to fit your needs so that you can attached a conventional (long) backwash hose directly to the port. Below are a couple examples.

But many hoses also come with a simple band clamp. Since this is not a pressurized line, just clamping a hose to the outlet port (or to the factor hose) might also work just to let water flow out & away.
