At what temperatures should owners consider closing pools?

I am not trying to kidnap this thread. At what winter temperatures should owners consider closing pools? Where I live, we get maybe two weeks of weather with temps solidly below 32.

If you live in an area with mild winters, no prolonged hard freezes, then you do not need to winterize the pool. If you get spells were the temps do not reach above 32 degrees for days at a time then you should winterize.
