Aqualink RS6 - Clock ticking too fast

My Aqualink RS6 has been working fine for about 6 years now with no issues. This week my equipment started going on at odd times and when I checked the clock was several hours wrong. Reset the correct time and then 2 days later it was way wrong time again (at 7am it said 11:30am) - date is correct and all other settings unchanged.

This morning I set the time at 8am and at 9am I checked again and the time read 9:10am. It is now 12:30pm and the clock reads 1:23pm!

I'll save you guys the obvious joke - yes flies when you're having fun!!! But I'm not having fun, I'm working, and this is really a pain - so what could be happening?

I pressed the reset button and reset the time and getting the same results. I looked and there is not a battery in either the remote panel or the main panel. Ran Diagnostics with no errors. Any other suggestions?

Diagnostics says I have: E0260802 REV N

Well my first post to the forum must've stumped everyone! :) I decided to take a chance and call Jandy/Zodiac for help - I assumed they were like all other hardware/software companies and would blow me off or sell a service contract. Was very pleased that a real human answered and he was very helpful. Asked about the reset buttons - I said I pushed the one on the panel inside but didn't know about another one. He had me reset the outside main controller as well (just above the "Service/Time Out" button). After that I also reset the inside one more time and reset the time. A day later it is still working fine and keeping the correct time!

FYI, he also suggested if that didn't work that i should disconnect the 4-button spa switch to test. Said they sometimes cause problems and worth testing before replacing anything else. Didn't have to do that since the reset worked. Last week I had some power issues in the neighborhood and the power flickered on and off a few times so I am assuming this is what got things out of sync. Glad I got out of this one with nothing spent.

Thanks. Worked a treat. Similar issue after power outage. Who knew there were TWO secret reset buttons?
