I am hoping someone can assist me with my issue. I just purchased this robot and downloaded the Aquabot RC App. My phone connects to the App via bluetooth, but when I try to activate the robot, it wont start. A few seconds later I get a communication error. Ive tried several different apps and get the error each time.
The trouble shooting section in the instruction manual tells me nothing.

Can anyone help?
Ive deleated apps, re-installed. Flipped breakers, re-started my phone, you name it ive spent hours on trying to solve the issue.

It sounds like you've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps already. Here are a few more things you might try:

Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure both the robot and the app are running the latest firmware and software versions. Sometimes, updates can fix communication issues.

Bluetooth Permissions: Double-check that the app has all necessary permissions enabled, including Bluetooth access and location services if required.

Proximity: Ensure your phone is within close proximity to the robot when attempting to connect. Bluetooth signals can be interrupted by distance or obstacles.

Clear Bluetooth Cache (Android): If you're using an Android phone, try clearing the Bluetooth cache.

Go to Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Bluetooth > Storage > Clear Cache.
Different Device: Try connecting the robot to the app using a different phone or tablet to see if the issue persists.

App-Specific Troubleshooting: Sometimes, specific app versions can have bugs. Try reaching out to the app's customer support for any known issues or patches.

Hard Reset the Robot: Check the manual or manufacturer’s website for instructions on how to perform a hard reset on the robot.

Wi-Fi Interference: Ensure there are no other devices or networks interfering with the Bluetooth connection. Sometimes, Wi-Fi networks or other Bluetooth devices can cause issues.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be a hardware problem with the robot itself. In that case, contacting the manufacturer's customer support for a replacement or repair might be necessary.
