didnt get to open last season so now i got a good layer of sludge(algae)on my pool bottom. I'm using a deep leaf net to get it out. I have no cheap access to water to backwash a lot. i'm keep chlorine at the slam level. Will this eventually kill the crude in the deep end. I cant see the bottom to tell how much if any is left. any suggestions? Vaccuuming is out right now,

The crud will overpower any FC you can possibly add.

Scoop blindly if you have to. You'll miss some swipes and it will need to settle at times, but with enough tries you'll get it all.
