There has been a build of algae in my pool vacuum tubing but the rest of the pool seems fine. It seems to be a little amount then over the next few weeks it got worse. Any advice? I was thinking about just buying new tubing but not sure if that's enough. I recently started running my pool pump 24/7 due to heat and increased my CYA to 70ppm. I maintain a minimum of 6ppm FC now.

If you have visible algae, I would do an OCLT tonight...Link-->Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

If you fail, follow the sLaM process. Link-->SLAM Process
Thanks. I pulled the tubing and sprayed high pressure water through it. I let sit in the sun for a couple days.

Did the OCLT. No change in levels overnight luckily.

The tubing has an organic smell so waiting for the brush to arrive.
