Hi, I have a new Aiper Seagull Pro, it did a great job cleaning the floor but the first time we used it to do the walls it left a lot of tread marks. check this video. Please suggest how to clean these off, tried using a cloth doesn't come off.

Please add some info in your profile about your pool. My pool is pebble and left no marks. Hard to believe the tires spin fast enough to leave marks. Scrub with a hard bristle brush is my only suggestion.

Thanks - just updated my profile.
Its a fiberglass pool - 15.5x30 - very smooth and slick finish on the walls
.. sincerely, the vacuum was used to just do the floor for the last few days and worked flawlessly. the moment it was set to do the walls as well I saw the trademarks...
My guess is because I have those tiny 2inch kind of ledge around the wall to help get out of the pool on the deep end as well... my guess is the vacuum is still looking to go up after the ledge and since it cannot find any suction/holding it over compensates.
I think I know the reason for the tread marks, I wanted to see how to get rid of them... I will try the hard bristle brush option today.

I’m having the same issue in my fiberglass pool but now it’s even leaving marks in just floor mode.

Did you figure out what caused it?

How did you remove them? I tried the pool brush but it didn’t seem to help any.

I tried hard brush, magic eraser, nothing worked, I have given up on it... the vacuum continued with creating streaks at the base swell a few day later, so I called up Aiper, no help... finally returned the product after 4 total uses... no my pool has too many tread marks all over it.

Apparently I should have waited to hear more reviews before buying it... good idea of a device but not good at support and the treads....

I may end up with a dolphin m400 or m600 will need to deal with the wires and all... but that seems to be the best option so far.

What color plastic? My black dolphin robot made marks all over my white plaster. I scrubbed them off with some scotch Brite. Be very gentle if you want to try that. No brush would do it. I switched to white plastic sides and problem solved. Now it looks sort of like a scrap yard model now but works fine. I would get rid of it if you can't get light color wheels.

Thanks I will give it a shot as well... about to order Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus... none of my neighbors have this trademark issue they have m400, NCCPlus... I'm ready to buy that.

I’ve found that a tennis ball works best to remove the black rubber marks off of my fiberglass. I too have returned my Aiper. I loved the cordless design and it did a good job of cleaning, but when I have to spend more time cleaning the rubber marks than vacuuming manually, it’s just not worth it.

I’m looking now at different models to see if any can do walls with that small ledge that runs around 3 sides of my pool

I have a new pool with white plaster. I bought an aiper seagull. I was so excited to get a good robot that was cordless and easy to use and clean. After a few weeks or using it about 4 times I notice black marks All along the bottom edge of whole pool. I am sick to my stomach.
The lady at their customer service told me to use a magic eraser. I want them to be responsible for the materials they used to design this product. The materials do not work on the plaster, they leave marks.
