A watched mailbox never holds the TF-PRO I've ordered

I have confirmed a corollary to the old adage "a watched pot never boils". I've order the kit, I know I need the critical info it will tell me about my pool, I know there is so much support here at TFP if I have all the relevant data, yet it still isn't in the mailbox. I'm going to take this as a lesson in patience. It should be here tomorrow according to the tracking info. Interesting how that doesn't make me any less anxious to get real data to explain the results I'm getting from my current testing.

One time i destroyed my cellphone and ordering a warranty replacement was painless. I was thrilled with my great luck while looking up the tracking # on the new one 20 mins after backing over the old one.

It was 100 miles or so north from Hurricane Harvey as it made landfall. It was inland enough that I wasn't worried about the hurricane but I figured all local resources would be directed south for quite some time.

I currently have a delivery at work that is coming from Austin, Texas which is 30 miles north on Interstate 35. It has been in-transit per the USPS site for 5 days. They seem to think they will deliver it next Wednesday. I've been trying to figure out what the benefit is to USPS Ground Advantage...

I was waiting for the delivery preparing my best Steve Martin imitation. I think the postal worker thought I was a bit amusing just standing there waiting. Now to get some readings.
