I have a 10x30 metal frame summer escapes pool with a HORRIBLE skimmer filter that hangs on the side. We used the filter less then a month and it has already burnt up. I ordered an Intex 1500-Gallon Filter Pump not knowing the hoses would not fit. Now I have no idea on how to convert the hoses so they fit. And I am not even sure on what to look for. The hoses for the intex filter is 1.5 in diameter and the summer escapes is 1 1/4 in diameter. I would love ANY feedback!

Welcome to TFP! The first thing that comes to mind is using a reducing connector on the hoses. However, someone should be along shortly that may have some better suggestions.
