Haywwary T-15 Turbocell: "Cell Sensor Short"

I am getting the message, "Cell Sensor Short" on my Hayward Goldline board. My external air and pool temperature sensors are working fine, but my turbo cell is turning off. I looked at the board or for a faulty wire somewhere and didn't notice anything though I'm not entirely sure what to look for.

Is my cell bad and must be replaced?

It means the temperature sensor in the cell is bad. This usually means that you have to replace the cell. If the cell is under warranty, then you can apply for that. If it's very old, it likely needs to be replaced anyway.

How old is the cell?
