We recently remodeled our pool and I've been reading about the benefits of borates. Just want to make sure my math is correct before I dump in 72 Lbs of boric. 72 Lbs sound like a lot but I guess it's a larger than average pool.
I'm thinking about adding boric acid for 30K Gal. Pool math says 72 Lbs (1145 oz)

What is your TA currently?
Realize that borates are completely optional.
72 pound must be about right because my pool needs about 44 pounds.
