First year closing pool.
I have a free form Salt IG Vinyl pool in TN with built in waterfall steps covered in vinyl. The pool dealer said not to lower the water during pool closing below the top of the steps. Is this correct? What would happen with too low of water? The top step is only 6 inches or so below normal water level or roughly the same height as bottom of skimmer.
Also if I close the pool they are going to install skimmer faceplates. If I leave the pool and go south for the winter for a couple months and the rains get water to the top of the pool is this going to hurt anything? I have brick coping.
Thanks
