Thanks to all- I watched it work....I'm a believer! All three tests passes- CC is 0ppm, overnight test resulted in virtually no loss in FC (less than .5ppm) and the water is crystal clear.
So-
I had to jack my FC level up pretty high to match my CYA. My CYA hit 90 yesterday so I brought up my FC to 35. It is currently 34.5. As I let it drift down, what is an acceptable level to swim at? My kids are going nuts.
I'm planning on visiting the pool calculator and draining the necessary water in my pool to get the CYA to an optimum range.
I'm going to rinse my filter cartridge again today (It was pretty green yesterday). I'm assuming it's okay to throw the pump back on it's normal timer?
Any other post-SLAMing necessities or things to watch for?
Thanks again for all the help-
Steve
