I currently have my chlorine a bit high due to my wife adding too much bleach this morning. I'm fighting getting my cya in the 70 range, especially with the 5 inches of rain I had last weekend. My question is, is my current reading of 40 of cya correct, even with the chlorine reading at 8 or 9? Does chlorine levels mess up cha readings?

FC does not affect the CYA test.
The only real interference is that the pH test is inaccurate when the FC > 10ppm.
