replaced the spa light bulb a couple months ago and since then the GFCI trips intermittently. The pool light and spa light are on the same switch, but I suspect it's the spa light since it's the one I touched. I didn't replace the gasket though (rookie mistake). I took it back out and apart, and have a new gasket ready to go. It still trips though even when out and no light in. So I'm leaving it out and apart to dry out. Sounds like that may fix the problem (fingers crossed). Also, while I have your attention, what is the spring going across? Some kind of ground?
