water samples at pool store

Quick question from a newbie to this site:
How long can a water sample sit before it is tested at the pool store and still be fairly (somewhat?) accurate? (Ordered my test kit yesterday and it's not here yet...)
Thanks. I'll post all my problems and numbers later.

The FC level can change in minutes, though it doesn't always do so. If you take a water sample in a clean, opaque, air tight container with no air in it, the FC level will usually stay fairly stable. But few people are that through. CC is occasionally lost in the same way, but is generally much more stable than FC.

Ignoring contamination, all of the other levels are good for several hours at least, probably days.
