I like your color selection. Make sure you tell us what color and post some pics. I'm having trouble deciding on the plaster.

Very nice progress! Are you dead-set on a Gas-Only fireplace? If it's not too late, it might be worthwhile to plan for a wood-burning. With a gas line you could interchange at any time.

I believe the FP is dual, gas and wood since it's not direct vent.

I just hate dealing with wood/bugs/and cleanup...

Got the drains laid, gas routed, some backfill and framing for the cover.

Coping is Walnut which will match the English Walnut travertine on the decking.

All the tile is different, but it's subtle. You can really tell the difference when the stone is wet.

Also got the gas logs to go inside so I can have dual use. Gas logs ain't cheap....
