Just put in my dummy SWG

I just took out my SWG for cleaning and winterizing, since last year I had a bad experience and had to replace the SWG. My question is, since it is very difficult to remove the sensor and the power cord from the control box, would it be alright to connect both up to the dummy SWG? I plan to run the pumps and circulate the water daily.

Sorry no one has answered you on this. Is the dummy made to be hooked up when installed? If nothing else, you could just protect the wire contacts from the elements I suppose. Perhaps someone will have a better answer.
