Hey guys,
Something strange happened today. I tested my PH using the standard taylor PH drop test (as I always do)....and compared it to my autopilot total control reading.
Taylor showed the ph higher than the autopilot...and then in about 15 seconds, the taylor color dropped from 7.8 to 7.4 I tested, retested...and every time, the ph in well shaken water in the test tube shows 7.8...and over 15 seconds or so, it drops to 7.4. ( I am getting some new chemicals)
I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this. Is it indicative of old chemicals? (mine are about 2 years old)
thanks!
Tony
