My Brother needs help

Odds say it's the old "watched pot never boils" saying. There's no reason to rush lowering the TA just to raise the PH once again. Let it happen on its own and in time all will work out.
 
That is what I thought. I advised him in an e mail not to worry about TA and not to test it daily but weekly would be sufficient. I told him to focus on ph and chlorine and to get that calcium chloride in his pool ASAP. He won't have time to get to the pool store until Friday.
 
My brother's latest test results:

FC 4.5
CC 0
PH 7.5
TA 120
CYA 40
CH 320

No sign of algae and his water is clean and clear. Everything seems to be in balance and he is a very happy Trouble Free Pool convert thanks to all of you! Thank you for all your advice.
