Hi all...
I am in the process of buying a foreclosed home with a pool and have a couple of questions regarding it.
first - the pool has a giant metal and wood cover put over it. (like chicken wire)
The realtor said that the pool was fiberglass.
But, the pool is full of nasty green water.
It is going to take a little bit of repair work as some of the tiles and rocks surrounding the top of the pool (which is all that I can see due to the green water) have fallen off.
My questions are this...
Would I be okay to just leave the cover on the pool over the winter and just deal with draining, repairing, and cleaning in the spring? or is it possible to drain it and/or winterize it with it being in the disgusting condition it is now?
thanks for your help
