I am having a liner pool installed in Missouri. The pool krete has been poured for 3 weeks waiting on custom liner. I have noticed a few concerns about the pool krete base and would like advice on these concerns.
1. Some areas of pool krete sound hollow underneath and others sound firm. Will this cause a support problem once pool is filled?
2. There is starting to be a lot hairline of cracks in pool krete. Is this normal?
3. Pool krete feels spongy in some areas. Is this normal?
4. Deep end is 6 feet. Ground water caused crack in deep end which was less than a foot. The deep end was repoured and water pushed up again. I have no main floor drain in design but PB wants to put hydrostatic valve without main drain to alleviate water pressure. Is this a good idea?
