Hayward Clamp?

Does anyone know where I can get this black clamp that goes around the cartridge filter? This one works, but it’s a real pain to remove as it’s next to impossible to get a ratchet or wrench on the left side\top of the bolt!

I believe to model on the filter is C2020L

I believe that clamp has been redesigned and you will have to replace the entire clamp assembly. Any Hayward dealer should be able to supply the parts you need. Check online.

Shop around, I bought the bottom half of the filter (mine cracked) and found that I also had to buy a new clamp as it came as a package. I didn't pay a lot more than that for both parts.

If you just need the knob, sorry I mean a Hayward Band Clamp Tool, these guys say they have it for $12.99.

A good hardware store should have a similar part, but likely they will call it a threaded knob.

Bump... so I am still having trouble finding this clamp.. I understand Hayward pulled all these because they were defective.. do I really have to spend $1200 on a new filter now?? Argh!

You don't need to spend $1200 on a new filter.

I've purchased several Hayward parts from Amazon at a much better price than anywhere local. On the filter, is it a model C2020?

I have the C2020. But it's the older one and I don't believe the new clamp works.
