This is really more of a... does this seem odd to anyone else type question, but here it goes...
We have a rectangular...ish pool The long sides of the pool are north/south facing. I was killing off some algae from my week...or 2... of lazy forgetfullness and annoyingly not great weather.... But I noticed it pretty much only grew on one side of the pool, the side that receives the least sun (big tree covers it) - and oddly, the algae is more prominent in the shadiest part of the pool, does that seem weird to anyone else? The sunny side of the pool is almost algae free... Any thoughts on why the shady side would be worse?
