Is Liquid Chlorine (Sodium Hypoclorite 12.5%) the same as 2x bleach?

Liquid chlorine and bleach are both sodium hypochlorite, just different strengths.

With regular old bleach typically being 6%, the 12.5% is essentially "double strength".

One thing to be aware of with the higher concentrations: They degrade faster than do the lower concentrations, especially when stored in a warm-hot location such as a garage or shed. When purchasing the higher concentrations (>= 10%), it is best to purchase from a source where the product turnover is reasonably high.
