So I'm just here to say a preemptive thank you for all the great information I've found here.
We've just finished a re-model of our pool area due to the previous owners of the property laying porous slate tiles which were disintegrating and were extremely slippy.
We replaced the whole lot with pavers and the work was finished this week.
I've just ordered a Dolphin DX4 and I'm starting the road to taking care of the pool myself. I used to have a pool guy come in once a week, but I'm looking forward to managing everything myself. I'm a complete novice having never owned a pool before the middle of last year, so I'm still familiarizing myself with the operation of all the equipment (I had no idea which was the pump / filter etc until a few weeks ago).
I'm going to start with the BBB method and testing will commence this week. The pool was filled from empty over the past 48 hours, so it could be an interesting process trying to balance things out!!
