I am considering purchasing a pool cover to reduce heat loss at night. My pool doesn't have a bottom drain, so the only circulation we get is through the skimmer and the returns. Will this be a problem for circulation if I have a cover on?
If the pool cover rests on the surface of the water, like a solar cover, it will affect the skimming ability of the skimmer. If the cover does not touch the wate it should not affect anything.
