Hi all, another newbie question:
I've thrown so much into my SW pool I'm getting worred about adding anything else until I can get something under definitive control.
If several things are "out of whack" and you can only adjust one thing at a time, what would be the order of priority in getting things back to normal?
Is my list here in the right order of what should be done first? Can any be done simultaneously without affecting something else?
1. Chlorine to get FC/CC the way we want it
2. Alkalinity
3. pH
4. CYA
5. Salt (mine is fine per HTH test strips but y'all say add extra so things work better)
6. Excess metals (I think I've got too much copper)
7. Hardness
8. Borates
