SOlar heater "inline with DE Filter??????

Hello! I'm in the process of installing a Hayward DE filter (EC50/ 1hp pump setup) on my Intex 24' round pool. I'm also going to be adding a 4x20 solar heater panel setup to the pool as well. My question is; Is it okay to connect the heater inline with the new DE filter plumbing? Or should I run a separate pump dedicated to the heater only? If I connect the heater inline with the DE filter, Will this in any way affect the filter's efficiency? Thanks!!!

That is pretty much the normal way to install a solar system and heater: skimmer -> pump -> filter -> diverter valve that goes to either solar or pool or both. If you skip the diverter valve, you might limit the flow rate too much and/or over pressure the panels.
