Is it safe? Could 24ppm damage a robotic cleaner? I am getting disparate to clean n balance by sat. We are having a birthday party. Tuesday it will be 2 weeks since I been shocking. I can see bottom on low end but deep end is cloudy.

I been testing water 3-4 times a day and keeping at shock level. The party is a bunch of 12 yr. old boys so trying to tell my son the pools not ready is not an option. I was thinking of dropping the chlorine level closer to sat. And just let them swim for the day.
