I'll be getting my new cleaner to replace my worn out Viper 550 on Wednesday.
I'm looking for advice on how to set it up properly. I always felt that when the Viper was setup, the hose as cut too short, but I've never installed one before and they doing the install had . . . . The reason I felt this way is that it always would get stuck in the corner of the steps and the wall by the skimmer. That cleaner always traveled in a somewhat clockwise direction, and that is a bad angle to hit the steps when along the wall. When it got there the hose was somewhat taut so the cleaner had a hard time spinning around to get unstuck. I really don't want the same thing for the new cleaner.
So any help on how to get the right length of hose, pressure settings etc would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
