Hello
We are planning to add an AGP and deck to our house this summer. Our 1st floor sits about 4 feet off the ground level already so we are planning on building the deck up and over the pool to give it the built in feel and look. We are planning to get a Splash Superpool 17x29 (rectangle). I have been talking with automatic pool cover companies and Pool Cover Specialists have been very helpful and we are looking to install one of these either topmount or undermount, I'd prefer undermount but not 100% sure yet. I've been reading on here for a little while and decided I had best register and join in since we were getting our selections narrowed down.
We live in Iowa in the country. We have 4 boys ages 3-13. I've been reading on the pool school and it seems very helpful, I am so glad to find this before actually putting in the pool!
My immediate concern is how to have the stairs in the pool that don't come up and out to the deck. I can install the deck mount handles that are not connected to the stairs, but I need the disconnect so the automatic cover can go over the top of the pool and close it. Any suggestions? My only viable thought so far is to have a removable deck mount ladder that is placed on each time we are using it and immediately removed each time we are not.
