Water was still cloudy with algae

Hi guys, after doing my same opening routine as I have for the last two years my water was still cloudy and algae was not staying out of the pool, I have come to the conclusion that this is my problem. Your thoughts?

TDS is virtually irrelevant in all pools. If you have algae in your pool, you do not have adequate chlorine. read "The ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry" up in Pool School....that'll get you started. You'll need to post some test results but we'll all help you get your pool clear.
