This is such a great forum.
I live in Wisconsin and it seems like everyone has a vermiculite pool bottom. The kit manufactor said that I could use a 4-1 sand to portland cement mix.
What are the pluses and minuses? Have any of the diy'ers done there own pool base? I kind of want to try it, but I'm afraid of not getting it set correctly and the liner not fitting.
Any opinons are welcome. Thanks!
