Last year we pulled the light housing out of the water at closing as the bulb was blown out (due to somebody turning it on out of the water....lets' not talk about who did that ) and we saw that the entire housing was FULL of water. I was planning on replacing the gasket to start, and putting in a normal CFL bulb to test the light itself until I looked at the fixture up close.
Is there anything I should be looking at after seeing this crack and the "rust" by the socket, or should I still replace the gasket and give it a shot??
