The company I work for recently purchased a water jet cutter (http://www.flowwaterjet.com/en/waterjet ... stems.aspx).
I realize its not a pool, but it is a 3,000 gallon tank of water that needs to be kept somewhat clean if for no other reason than to keep the shop from stinking. Problem is no one really wants to use chlorine as mostly what we cut is mild steel and the thinking is the corrosion would be significant. Anyone have ideas on how to keep the water somewhat clean and prevent most of the algae growth with something that isn't very corrosive? Obviously we won't be drinking or swimming in it so the normal rules on what to put in a pool don't necessarily apply.
