Pool is three weeks old. We have been chasing ph and seem to finally have under control. Decided to change pool supply companies and so far very satisfied. My only question is about adding calcium. Supplier wanted to know if pool builder added calcium to our new pool, he did not. She told us it was imperative that we add because the calcium reading we are getting is from the calcium being pulled from the plaster and will cause problems later. We are questioning this, but to be honest plaster is still not very uniform. We were told it could take up to a year for an even finish. Thoughts??
