I've alway's put the solar cover up for the winter....Has anyone left the solar cover on pool&just closed pool up with it left on&cover over with winter cover.
I wouldn't do it...the solar cover manufacturers recommend taking the cover off when shocking, since high chlorine levels accelerate the degradation of the plastic. I bet you'd open to ruined solar cover.
excellent point MITS, but I was wondering the same since I was staring at a half shot solar cover 50% of my bubles have popped, instead of using a pillow, but just opted to toss it out.
Thank's I was just wondering..I've alway's keep the cover on..I've even shocked the pool with it on..I thought it would make it easier to get the cover on&keep less trash out...My cover is old so I thought I would just try it to see what happen's when I open back up next year..Had a great Trouble-Free year of swimming..
