Vinyl Repair - Patches Turned Pale yellow

About a week ago the kids alerted to me there where tears in the liner. I dove down and found 3 half moon shaped cuts. I went and bought a clear vinyl repair kit, cut 3 circular patches and applied with no problem. From the surface and in the pool they were very hard to find/see. After a couple of days later they had all turned a very pale yellow. I assume the Cl did this, I run about 3 to 4 ppm.

Is this normal for these to yellow?

It was probably sunlight, not chlorine, that caused them to yellow. It also means that the patch material was not really the best grade of vinyl.

Thanks, Jason. I guess I'll be tossing that repair kit out so the next time, hopefully never, I need a patch I won't have this problem.
