Hi,
I'm really fresh at this forum so bear with me.
I have a very old skimmer which leaks from the bottom, therefore I know I'd need to replace the O-Ring (SPX1082Z5B), no issues here other than trying to get advice on how difficult it would be.
Now, since the Valve Housing screws are so rusted I believe I would have to break it in order to replace it also. The problem is I can't find the right Part Number anywhere!
In fact, I found an updated Hayward Manual (http://www.propools.com/instructions_ow ... nual56.pdf) that doesn't even have the part# for it. Can anyone shed some light on?
Also, do you think I may want to go ahead and replace the Equalizer Valve Assembly? Is it an easy job or will I require a professional?
Thanks,
Claudio
