Hi,
So I am currently using Jacks Magic #2 stain remover (sulfamic acid) to remove stains from a Pebblecrete (I am from Australia, not sure if it goes under a different name in the States) pool. And I am using "the Blue stuff" (HEDP) sequestering agent. I have a couple of questions.
Does anyone have any idea how much copper a standard dose of sequestering agent can realistically hold in solution? Would increasing the amount of sequesterant also increase the quantity of copper able to be held?
In the instructions provided by Jacks Magic, it says that the sequesterant itself is able to remove copper staining over time, just not as rapidly as the sulfamic acid. Anyone had success in getting rid of copper stains simply using sequesterant?
Thank you very much!
