We had about 12" of snow this past weekend. Way above what we normally get around here. When the power came back on we put the pump on to start pumping out what water we could. There is a thin layer of ice on the top of the cover with slushy water underneath. I, foolishly, tried to break through the ice to try and see how much water was on the cover (it is really weighed down). I managed to tear the cover about 3". It is near the edge and I think we could reach it to patch it. My question is this, what sort of patch can I use on a winter cover, can you use it in these cold temps and get a good seal? Any advise would be appreciated.
