It’s been a week. FC has been between 18.5 to 22. Unfortunately, there’s no appreciable change that I can see. It’s not getting worse either. Am I still being impatient?

It’s been over a week. I *may* be still in the POP stage. ?
I believe the water is less cloudy because I can see the bottom of the pool now although my husband thinks it’s the same. Anyway, we’ve had rain and overcast almost every day this past week so there’s been little light filtered through to the bottom.
We’ve maintained FC between 18.5 to 22, scrubbed the walls, just finished vacuuming the bottom, replaced filter cartridges even though it looks fairly clean to me. Nothing green that I can see.
Can we raise FC higher to speed it up? Any other thoughts about what we can do or expect to see over this coming week?

Do you have the speedstir that swirls the test sample continuously while you add the required drops? It sounds to me from the drip question that you do not.
Double check your CYA number as that determines the right chlorine level.

We’ve just redid CYA test and it’s the same at 50 so FC should be 20.

We passed the overnight test two nights in a row (just to make sure).
Now, we're almost back down to target FC level. pH is still high. Should we add muriatic acid to bring it inline?
