Yep, I do the same. I let them all live....except the horseflies! They better watch out!
Spiders, THANK GOODNESS we don't have spiders. We do have some out and around our pool at times but NEVER any gliding across the top of the water swimming with us. EEK. NO thanks.
It says they eat algae. Hmmmm.....maybe they are actually useful. I wonder how fast algae would clear up if someone with an algae problem dumped a bucket of water boatmen in. :lol:
I have the opportunity to save many little dragonflies whenever I'm in the pool. I save them and spiders, too, if I can because they both eat mosquitos.
