Where can I locate a SWG?

Here are some pictures of my setup. I would like to install a SWG in place of my chlorinator. I would probably go with the Hayward T-15.

I have very limited pipe runs between the heater outlet and the tees to my three returns. If I am able to un-glue the PVC joints (not enough pipe left for a coupling in one spot) and put a new run of pipe in there going two to three feet up, would I be able to put the SWG cell in one the vertical runs of pipe?

Also, do you recommend an anode in the run of pipe? I was thinking of putting on in the run going to the heater.

Thanks for any help.

A Hayward flow switch should have 12" of straight pipe before the switch or install it right after the cell. Yes, it can go on the up pipe near the top in that example, or on the down pipe near the bottom, or along the top pipe right after the cell if you can squeeze it in.
