Good Morning,
After issues concerning a pool company's errors in start up and lack of properly monitoring and adjusting my chemicals, I have decided to take matters into my own hands and take over all the chemicals in my pool. The plaster rep said the best way to effectively monitor the chemicals as well as know exactly what amounts of chemicals are needed for my pool specs is to use the LeMotte waterlink spintouch system. I then input the results in to the Orinda app, which will tell me what I need to add.
Does anyone have experience using this system at home? If yes, is it as "simple" as it sounds? What are the downsides?
This is my first pool...I'm looking for the most effective way to accurately control my chemicals so I know I am doing all I can to protect my investment and I don't want the hassle of taking a water sample to a pool store every week. *yes, I realize the system is expensive. The price is not a deterrent if the system works as well as what I have heard. and yes, I do know this system is marketed for commercial uses and not so much residential.
Any advice out there?
Thanks!
