Salt Cell generating all the time

Hi, I just replaced my T15 salt cell on my 5 year old Aqua-line salt system. It has been generating a week and has not turned off.
Have set the output down to the lowest setting and it keeps generating. Clorine levels are high. Any thoughts?

Don't you need to set the length of time it runs on the timer?

It generates based on the percentage. The cycle is 180 minutes. So, at 50%, the cell will generate for 90 minutes and then it will be off for 90 minutes.

The confusing part is that the generating light will be on the whole time.

To confirm if the cell is actually generating or not, check the diagnostic readings.

When it's not generating, the amps and instant salinity will be 0.

How long are you running your pump? I only run mine log enough to make enough chlorine. 4 hours or so. It varies with temperature.
