Moved the sock and mushed it a bit, and it is now disappearing rapidly, as it is directly in front of the return jet. Here are my numbers:
FC 4.5 (it was .5 about 2.5 hours ago so I added half a jug of bleach so the kids could swim)
CC 0
TC 4.5
pH 7.1
T/A 100
Should I add borax to bring the ph up? And does the TA need to be reduced at all?

I personally wouldn't bring the ph up as I believe you will see it rise on its own unless you're using trichlor tabs.
Thanks, I won't worry about the pH for now. I am only using my swg, and bleach as needed. Hopefully my cya will be up now that I repositioned the sock and it is dissolving so quickly
I think with a TA of 100, the SWG will raise the PH on it's own in a short period of time. Depending on your cell's run time, you may even find you need to add acid to lower it by next week, LOL.
Well we finally have cya!! The level is 30, which is low, but since it just finally dissolved yesterday, should I wait before I add more to bring it up? Also, my T/A went up to 110. Should I be addressing that? Thanks so much!

I believe Mike addressed your testing question above.
don't worry about the TA. it will get lower on its own without specific intervention. if you want to add borates, that's a different story.

Ok, I won't worry about the TA. Is the CYA level accurate, or does it take a few days after dissolving to reach it's true measure? I'm just wondering if I need to add anymore CYA, or if it will naturally rise over the next few days? Thanks
