Question regarding 2 speed motor. Replacing an old 3/4 HP single speed motor to a 2 speed 3/4 HP (sts1072rtv) currently have the motor on a timer that is inside the house, equipment pad is 150' away, I run the pump twice a day for 3 hours. My plan would to be to run the 2 speed pump on low unless vaccuming, The question is will I be able to use the same timer I have to switch pump on and off in low speed operation and then when I need the hi speed use the low/hi switch on the motor, or am I gonna need a separate timer?

Yes, you can use the timer to turn the pump on and off and the switch for low to high.
